US Social network ad spending is not going to be as high as predicted by eMarketer a couple of months ago - and is going to impact the worldwide social network ad spending too.


Reasons stated? Today’s economy, combined with the fact that social networks are still trying to come up with successful ad models.
Would be interesting to find out about advertisers’ satisfaction on their social initiatives and see if that does have an impact on the numbers drop down. Specifically: what were the objectives of the campaigns and how they were met on the platforms advertisers invest. They might find social media spending a little more complex to understand than initially thought. A long term strategic framework would help them secure their investment.
